As a seasoned professional, Mr. Gratian plays a pivotal role in managing the organization’s operations across all fronts, meticulously monitoring progress and ensuring the smooth execution of projects. His meticulous approach has not only enhanced the relationship with stakeholders but also optimized the profitability and sustainability of Ceylon Energy.

During his distinguished professional journey, Mr. Gratian has held esteemed positions, including Additional General Manager of the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), the highest position within the CEB. He has also served as a Consultant to the Chairman of CEB, focusing on renewable energy in Sri Lanka. Additionally, he served as the Head of the North Central and North Western provinces as Deputy General Manager for over a decade.

Mr. Gratian’s remarkable contributions extend to groundbreaking power transmission projects in Sri Lanka. Notably, he served as the Project Director for the “Uthuru Wasanthaya” Project, leading the rehabilitation of the electricity network in the entire northern province within a remarkable timeframe of three years. He also achieved 100% electrification in Sri Lanka by 2015 as the Project Director of the “Lighting Sri Lanka” project.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Gratian is highly regarded as an outstanding communicator. He was honored with the bronze medal for speaking capability and leadership qualities from Toastmasters International, USA.
