PROJECT PORTFOLIO

Delivering High-Performance Infrastructure Across the Globe
A Legacy of Field-Proven Engineering Success

Completed Projects

We have successfully delivered over 40 major infrastructure projects, establishing a  7+ year track record of reliability and technical excellence. Our portfolio represents thousands of kilometers of grid expansion and specialized civil engineering assets that continue to power industries and empower communities worldwide.

The Digana – 01
solar project stands as a testament to our commitment to high-performance renewable infrastructure. This 1MW facility was precision-engineered to maximize energy yield in the region, providing a clean and consistent power supply to the national grid.

1MW Solar, Bandaragama – 01
In Bandaragama, our 1MW solar installation showcases the seamless integration of modern energy technology with local utility requirements. This project involved comprehensive technical resource management to ensure long-term operational integrity and peak efficiency under varying environmental conditions.

Ceylon Energy has successfully completed a series of specialized engineering milestones, including the precision construction of the Bolawatha Gantry – 01 and the high-performance Hayleys Advantis Project. Our commitment to infrastructure resilience is further demonstrated through the implementation of advanced Lighting Protection System Project – 01 and the pioneering deployment of helical technology. This includes the rigorous Helical Testing Project – 01 and the first-of-its-kind Helical Installation Project for Transmission – 01, both of which represent our transition toward faster, more sustainable foundation solutions for national power networks.

Executing Large-Scale Infrastructure with Precision

Ongoing Projects

We are actively managing a diverse portfolio of critical utility projects, spanning thousands of kilometers of grid expansion and high-voltage substation construction. Our teams are currently deployed across multiple regions, implementing innovative foundation technologies and turnkey engineering solutions to ensure the reliable delivery of power to hundreds of thousands of consumers.

The project involves the construction of 33kV Double Circuit (D/C) tower lines and gantries to enhance the reliability and capacity of the electricity distribution network. The scope covers the construction of 15 tower lines, 13 gantries, and 1,147 transmission towers over a total line length of 262.2 km, including all associated design, civil, erection, stringing, testing, and commissioning works in compliance with applicable technical, safety, and environmental standards.

The project comprises the development of an 80MW solar power plant in Hambantota, Sri Lanka, including the construction of the associated substation and grid connection facilities. The scope covers the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar PV plant, collector substation, and transmission infrastructure required to evacuate power to the national grid, in compliance with CEB requirements, grid codes, and applicable environmental and safety standards.

We implemented advanced Helical Foundation technology for 33kV Distribution lines with 95 Nos. of doulble circuit distribusion towers with ACSR Lynx & AAAC Sycamore conductor. This innovative anchoring method ensures superior stability in challenging terrain while significantly reducing project lead times. For the first time in Sri Lanka, Ceylon Energy manufactured helical anchors locally and deployed helical products and technology for tower line foundations under the Electricity Supply Reliability Improvement Project (SESRIP). This milestone demonstrates our commitment to modern engineering practices, localized manufacturing capability, and enhanced grid reliability.

The Kenya SEZ Galvanized Steel Tower Manufacturing Plant Project spans 2.41 hectares (5.96 acres), providing ample space for current operations as well as future expansion. The project is supported by a 50-year secured land lease, ensuring long-term operational continuity and stability. The facility is designed with a production capacity of 18,000 metric tons per annum for galvanizing and 15,000 metric tons per annum for steel fabrication, with a scalable layout that allows for future capacity enhancements. Leveraging Ceylon Energy’s proven competencies in infrastructure project delivery, the plant is expected to be completed within two years, enabling the project to realize maximum operational and commercial benefits.
