Today, industry leading earth anchoring brands CHANCE and Atlas Resistance® are used worldwide to secure residential and commercial buildings, tower foundations, heavy equipment foundations and many other deep foundation applications. Engineered for dependability and long-term stability, CHANCE foundation solutions feature exclusive anchoring techniques, tools, designs and sizes that improve the efficiency and durability of foundation solutions. Hubbell Power Systems, Inc., manufacturer of CHANCE® brand helical anchors and foundations, is a Corporate Member of the Deep Foundations Institute.

The Aclara Grid Monitoring solution offers a comprehensive solution for fault detection and monitoring on 35kV overhead line networks. By deploying Aclara Power Sensors, fault events including momentary, line disturbance, and permanent faults can be detected and reported. The system also collects load data, power flow direction, and provides waveform capture and analysis capabilities. The Sensors, which have a long lifespan and require no maintenance, automatically report faults through various communication channels. The Aclara Sensor Management System (SMS) software enables access to fault event data and facilitates integration with SCADA systems. This solution enhances network reliability by providing advanced notice of issues and expediting fault location identification, leading to faster resolution times.

CTC Global, a US-based corporation introduced the ACCC® conductor in 2004 to address the challenge of increasing transmission line capacity. It has since been deployed in numerous projects worldwide, spanning over 140,000 km and supported by over 250 utilities in more than 60 countries. The innovative ACCC® (Aluminium Conductor Composite Core) technology, which offers superior strength and lightness. This technology has been primarily used to enhance power transfer capacities in transmission and distribution lines. The ACCC® conductor incorporates aerospace technology and materials science to create a lightweight yet strong core that can carry 25% more conductive aluminum without any weight or diameter penalty. By using ACCC conductors, line losses can be reduced by up to 40%, capacity can be increased up to two times compared to traditional conductors, and thermal sag can be significantly minimized, thus avoiding grid failure.
